Dance cards at the ready

It’s nearly that time of the year, when thoughts turn to pumpkins, skeletons and creepy crawlies. But if you’re looking for a change, you’ll be glad to hear of a more glamorous option. On 26 October, the Grand Café at the Scotsman Hotel is the location for a Bridgerton-themed Hallowe’en Ball, which promises “scandalous drama” and “decadent dining”. The ticket covers a welcome glass of champagne and a three-course “feast”. Themed cocktails are on the menu too.
