Knight Frank relocates Edinburgh office

Knight Frank has stepped up its investment in its Scottish commercial-property operations by securing a long-term lease at a best-in-class office development in Edinburgh.

The independent commercial property consultancy has taken ground-floor space at 30 Semple Street, relocating from 2 Castle Terrace where it had been for a decade.

The Edinburgh move follows the recent relocation of Knight Frank’s Aberdeen team to Albyn Place, securing another high-quality workplace for its Scottish operations. The firm’s commercial-property offices in Scotland – which also include Glasgow – offer services ranging from capital-markets advisory and office agency to valuations and building consultancy.

Alasdair Steele, head of Scotland commercial at Knight Frank, said: “Scotland is a key market for us as a firm, and the central belt is the nation’s economic powerhouse.

“Taking space at one of Edinburgh’s top buildings from a quality and ESG perspective reflects not only our continued commitment to the city and our clients who operate within it, but also provides our people with a great space to work in.

“An office move always feels like a new chapter for a business. With a strong team, a great new space and a cautious optimism returning to the market, we have the foundations in place to grow our market share across key service lines and look to new opportunities as well in the years ahead.”
