Savills appoints its next generation of Scottish residential-property leaders
Savills has announced two significant leadership developments, with Harry Maitland appointed head of its Scottish country-house team and Peter Walker leading its residential business across Glasgow and the west of Scotland, overseeing a market stretching from Dumfries to Inverness.
Harry succeeds Jamie Macnab, who led the Scottish country-house team for 36 years and helped establish Savills as a market leader across Scotland's prime country-house sector. Jamie will now focus on the St Andrews market.

Having first joined Savills 16 years ago and returning in 2019 following a period in Canada, Harry has worked alongside Jamie for many years. His appointment follows Peter’s promotion earlier this year. Peter joined Savills in 2018.
Cameron Ewer, head of residential for Scotland and the north west of England said:
"Harry and Peter are outstanding examples of the calibre of people we have across our residential business. They have built deep market knowledge and trusted client relationships over many years, and their appointments enhance our leadership team as we continue to support clients across Scotland.”
