New brunch menu at Patatino

Modern trattoria, Patatino, based at The Hoxton hotel, has launched a new brunch menu.

Available on Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm to 4pm, the menu combines Patatino staples with Italian-inspired twists on breakfast classics.

The menu kicks off with a selection of small plates, including waffles tiramisù with mascarpone cream and coffee and a Patatino favourite – fried spaghetti with marinara sauce and spicy basil pesto.

Hearty larger dishes to follow, include eggs royale; avocado toast; mortadella flatbread with pistachio pesto and stracciatella; and eggs and ‘nduja on sourdough with aubergine caviar and salsa verde.

Pasta and pizza fans can enjoy the restaurant’s signature dishes such as spaghettoni cacio e pepe or reginette with lamb ragù, salsa verde and pecorino, as well as sourdough pizzas topped with Scottish mozzarella, sugo and basil or with ‘nduja, haggis, rocket, oregano honey and fior di latte.

Guests can pair their dishes with cocktails such as the patatini, with malfy con limone gin, Rinquinquin à la pêche (a peach aperitif), cocchi rosa (a red-wine aperitif) and bitters or the pomodorini, which features Reyka vodka, tomato and basil cordial, lemon juice and soda.

The brunchatino menu combines any small plate, large plate and two cocktails for £45.
