An online magazine for and about businesses of all sizes, in Edinburgh and beyond

A new firm, Dunedin Financial, is opening its doors for business, from 4 August, in Edinburgh’s New Town.
Director, Lee Edwardson, who previously worked for Royal London, is offering mortgage; personal and business protection; and estate-planning services, on the basis of whole-of-market, fee-free advice.
He said: “This is an exciting moment for me, after months of planning and preparation, and I’m looking forward to getting started.”
While he is currently concentrating on getting the business up and running, Lee says he could be looking to take on staff at a later stage, as he explained: “I’m focused on building strong foundations and delivering exceptional service from day one.
“Depending on how things progress, recruitment could be a possibility down the line, if I see opportunities to expand, while maintaining the high standards I’ve set.”
Lee will be undertaking client administration work from his New Town base and offering clients meetings at their home, at the Gleneagles Townhouse in St Andrew Square or online:
“The aim is to make financial advice accessible, convenient and tailored to individual needs,” he confirmed.
