Stirling-based regenerative design-and-build company, Hoose, has secured three major business awards over the summer, recognising its approach to innovation and its ambition to help shape the future of housebuilding.

The young Scottish company, established in 2022, won The HEAT, a Dragons’ Den-style competition, organised by commercial-property company, Ceteris and was also named Innovator of the Year as part of Forth Valley Business Week. These successes follow Hoose receiving the Green Innovator Award at the Stirlingshire Business Awards, organised by business-support organisation, STEP Scotland.

Winning The HEAT brings Hoose a package of business support and promotional opportunities, including three months of radio advertising with Central FM.

Hoose designs and builds regenerative, low-energy homes using natural, carbon-storing materials. Its approach goes beyond reducing environmental harm, considering how each project can support healthier living, respond positively to its landscape, strengthen communities and create lasting environmental, social and financial value.

Its integrated Land-to-Living™ process brings together the early assessment of land, design, planning, construction and renewable energy, helping clients understand the wider opportunities and implications of their project and make better-informed decisions throughout.

Stuart Gee, director of process and innovation at Hoose, said:

“To receive three awards in such a short period is a significant moment for Hoose. Each one recognises a different part of what we are building: our environmental ambition, our approach to innovation and the commercial potential of the business.

“We established Hoose because we believe homes can do much more than reduce harm. They can support healthier lives, strengthen communities, work more positively with the natural environment and create lasting value for the people and places around them.

“This recognition gives the whole team further confidence as we continue developing our homes, construction systems and partnerships. We are extremely grateful to Ceteris, STEP, the award judges and everyone who has supported us so far.”

Hoose works with landowners, rural businesses, estates, private clients, community organisations and professional partners. Its ambition is to demonstrate that regenerative, carbon-storing and climate-resilient homes can be both achievable and commercially viable.
