Four new brand signings at Westfield St James Quarter
Retail and office-space operator, URW (Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield), has secured four major signings at Westfield St James Quarter, welcoming women’s athleisure brand, TALA; Italian fashion label, Subdued: Danish outerwear specialist, Rains; and Australian jewellery brand, Harli + Harpa to the destination.
Together, the brands will introduce over 7,000 sq. ft. of new fashion, beauty and lifestyle retail space, further strengthening the centre’s premium-brand offering.
Constantin Wiesmann, director of leasing, northern Europe, at URW, said: “These signings reflect the strength of Westfield St James Quarter's proposition and its ability to attract ambitious brands looking to grow their presence across the UK.
“Westfield St James Quarter is uniquely positioned to offer them access to a highly engaged customer base, a compelling mix of retail and lifestyle experiences and the reach of the globally recognised Westfield platform.”
Since opening in 2021, Westfield has welcomed a number of brands making their Scottish debut alongside flagship stores. The centre attracted annual footfall of 20.6 million in 2025. Its line-up of domestic and international brands includes Sephora, Zara, H&M, BOSS, Coach and Reiss, cementing its position as Scotland's leading retail and lifestyle destination.
The announcement follows URW’s recent rebranding of the destination as Westfield St James Quarter, bringing Edinburgh into its Westfield network. As part of the Westfield portfolio, the destination is increasingly attracting leading international retailers, first-to-market concepts and digitally native brands seeking access to one of the UK’s strongest catchments.
Owned by a joint venture between APG Asset Management and URW, and managed by URW, the destination has established itself as a major driver of Edinburgh’s city-centre economy and is strategically positioned to support the next phase of retailer growth in Scotland.
