Sofa Club opens second Scottish store
Sofa Club has officially opened its new Edinburgh store at Fort Kinnaird Retail Park, marking an expansion for the British furniture brand, which has another six stores, with one in Glasgow, Cardiff, Hertford, Liverpool, Newcastle and Croydon.
The new store, covering 9,300 square feet, has been designed to offer more than the traditional furniture shopping experience.
At the heart of the store concept is a bespoke sofa atelier, where customers can explore different configurations, fabrics and finishes, and receive support to create their perfect piece.
The store also features a bar area, encouraging visitors to make themselves at home, enjoy a drink and take their time exploring the space. The concept reflects Sofa Club’s ambition to make shopping for a sofa feel less transactional and much more enjoyable.
Thomas O’Neill, co-founder said: “We wanted this space to feel like somewhere you genuinely want to spend time – not just somewhere you visit when you need a new sofa.
“From our sofa atelier to the bar, every element has been designed to make choosing a sofa feel more inspiring, relaxed and personal. Edinburgh is such an exciting city for us to be part of, and we can’t wait for customers to come in, get comfortable and experience the new Sofa Club.”
The opening forms part of Sofa Club’s continued retail expansion and evolution of its physical store experience, creating spaces that bring together interiors, design, personalisation and hospitality under one roof.
