Lettings agency, Duo Lettings, has announced plans to expand the business. Co-founders, Stef Paterson and Jade Flannigan are also looking at acquiring a small lettings agency, as part of the firm’s next phase of growth.
Stef commented: “This would be our first formal acquisition, but we’ve grown rapidly and organically over the past 18 months. We’ve taken on several portfolios and invested heavily in building robust systems, strong processes and a committed team to support our next stage of growth.”
While the firm’s HQ is in Aberdeen, the business operates across Scotland, and is focusing on growth in Edinburgh, the Lothians, Falkirk, Dundee, Glasgow and the surrounding areas.
Before their move into property, Stef held senior HR roles across the UK, Hong Kong and the Middle East and Jade had established a career in operations within the oil-and-gas industry. A strong interest in property led them into their two current business ventures, which started in 2020, with The Property Duo, a property sourcing and project-management business for investors worldwide.
Duo Lettings followed in 2022, providing residential lettings and property-management services, including compliance, tenant placement, maintenance coordination and landlord support. It now has a team of five, including new hire, Vicki Elder, lettings manager in Aberdeen.
Stef added: “As we expand across the central belt, we’re also planning to grow the lettings team further to support demand in new locations.
“This is a really exciting phase of growth for us.”
