Double award success for Sephra Europe

Kirkcaldy-based Sephra Europe has won two major awards in the Fife Business Awards 2026, the awards scheme organised and run by Fife Chamber of Commerce.
The business, which comprises the food equipment, ingredients, and confectionery brand, Sephra, together with the food, equipment and ingredients distribution division, CFW, picked up the Business of the Year Award, as well as winning in the Best Marketing & Engagement category.
David Archer, managing director and owner of Sephra, said: “To win both categories we entered is fantastic and a hugely proud moment. I’m extremely thankful to my amazing team. We really couldn't be more pleased and had a hugely enjoyable night at the awards ceremony.
“We doubled the size of our business in two years, in an extremely challenging marketplace,” he said. “And regarding the Marketing & Engagement award, we decided to enter this category, as we felt we had really excelled with a clearly targeted multi-channel marketing and communication strategy. This has played a large part in our growth.”
Sephra’ s TikTok account has grown to 10,900 followers and CFW’s Instagram account has 18,000 followers: “We have a very talented in-house team who have worked extremely hard to achieve these figures,” said David: “We are delighted that the judges agreed that we deserved recognition in these two categories.”
Sephra began modestly, as a home business in Kirkcaldy, with David at the helm. Reflecting on the development of the business, he said: “We have now grown into an international brand, employing 35 people in the UK, and four in the US, distributing products to both B2C and B2B customers in over 70 countries worldwide.
“As Fife is where our story started, and where we are still based, it’s really good to be recognised on our home patch. We have always found our Chamber membership to be a very useful and collaborative experience.”
Speaking following the event, Stephen Percy-Robb, Fife Chamber of Commerce, chief executive said:

“The awards showcased the diversity and dynamism of Fife’s business community, with finalists representing a range of sectors – from owner-run businesses, to global brands based in Fife. In addition to celebrating success, the evening demonstrated the strong sense of collaboration and community spirit within the region’s business network,” he added.”
