Aberdein Considine has reached the finals in five separate categories at The Herald law awards of Scotland, including debt-recovery team of the year, which the firm won in 2024 and 2025.

The firm is also shortlisted in the litigation team of the year; family and child law team of the year; and employment team of the year.  Its Glasgow-based, banking-litigation senior associate, Ahsan Mustafa, has been shortlisted for the solicitor of the year award.

Jacqueline Law, managing partner at Aberdein Considine, said:

"I’m so proud that we have been shortlisted in every single category we entered this year.

“Making the finals is testament to our teams’ expertise, accomplishments and exemplary dedication to excellence in client care.

“Everyone at Aberdein Considine will be cheering them all on and rooting for Ahsan.”

She added: "Best of luck to all the firms and lawyers shortlisted for the 2026 awards, which is always a milestone event in Scotland’s legal calendar."

The Herald Law Awards of Scotland awards ceremony will be held at Glasgow’s Radisson Blu hotel, Argyll Street on Thursday 12 November.
