The Palmerston marks Festival season with a series of kitchen takeovers
During August, The Palmerston restaurant in the city’s west end is welcoming chef friends for ‘Palmerston and Pals’ – a series of kitchen takeovers.
On Sunday evenings, The Palmerston will hand over the stoves to showcase some of the finest cooking in the central belt, with a series of four dinners from Murid Laly, Big Dip, Arete and Tumshie.
On 3 August, Murid Laly will be at the helm, offering rustic, seasonal Afghan cookery with a Scottish twist. The following Sunday, it will be pop-up duo Big Dip’s turn, when they will present fresh takes on Milanese classics. Private-dining company, Arete’s co-founders, George Colebrook and Neil Paterson are next and supper club, Tumshie will be in the kitchen for the final pop-up, on 24 August.
The set menu for each event costs £40 per person. Bookings can be made at hello@thepalmerstonedinburgh.co.uk.
