Scottish chocolatier makes an appearance at Cannes
Argyll-based Fetcha Chocolates, which specialises in allergen-friendly, vegan chocolates, will be making an appearance at the Cannes International Film Festival (13-24 May).
Founder, Fiona McArthur, has been invited to provide her chocolates in the VIP gift bags given to guests at The American Pavilion, the centre for American hospitality for the film industry, in Cannes.
The exclusive gift bags will be available to The American Pavilion’s red-carpet members as well as to many well-known directors, actors, producers, writers and industry executives.
To mark the occasion, Fetcha has created a limited-edition ‘Cannes Collection’ with flavours including yuzu ganache; Mexican hot chocolate; cappuccino; matcha and lime; and with a nod to Scotland, haggis spice.
Fiona said: “It’s an honour to share our chocolates with such a globally respected creative community.
“With so many people from around the world at Cannes and visiting The American Pavilion, we wanted the flavours to reflect that diversity and creativity. We’ve poured our hearts into The Cannes Collection to make it something truly special.”
This is not the chocolatier’s first brush with celebrity. In 2024, Fetcha, which launched just six years ago and has a team of four, received an invitation from Los Angeles-based marketing company, Distinctive Assets, to supply its sweet treats for a gift bag for Oscar nominees. Fetcha created a special collection of movie-themed chocolates for these non-affiliated rewards.
Fetcha’s next, new chocolate collection launches on 5 May.
