Scotland rugby legend Greig Laidlaw to host exclusive Six Nation talks at Bonnie & Wild
Greig Laidlaw, one of Scotland’s most capped rugby internationalists, who captained the national side a record 39 times, has announced two exclusive talks during the upcoming Six Nations campaign.
Taking place at Bonnie & Wild, Greig’s talks will include insights from his distinguished career, followed by a Q&A session with guests who will be invited to quiz him on the current Six Nations campaign, as well as Scotland’s hopes in the 2027 Rugby World Cup.
Greig recently returned to Scotland from Japan, where he coached the country’s Urayasu D-Rocks team. He has now started coaching Scotland’s U20 team.
He said: “It’s been a whirlwind few months as I’ve made the big step back to Scotland to take on the important role of coaching the country’s next generation of rugby talent.
“This latest move has given me much to reflect upon and I’m excited to be sharing stories from my career in these talks at Bonnie & Wild. I'm also looking forward to hosting the Q&A towards the end of the evening where we'll open the floor up for guests to ask their own questions.
“The first talk follows Scotland’s ‘crunch’ match against England so I expect that’ll provoke a lively discussion, while the second one on March 12 will give us much more of an overview of the campaign as a whole, particularly as we look, ever hopeful, to the 2027 Rugby World Cup.”
Ryan Barrie, Bonnie & Wild's managing director, said: “Greig’s an absolute icon of Scottish rugby and we’re over the moon to be hosting not one but two exclusive events with him during the Six Nations campaign.”
The talks, which are being held in partnership with The Famous Grouse, take place at Bonnie & Wild on February 19 and March 12, priced £40.
