Saffery expands Edinburgh partnership

Accountancy and business advisory firm, Saffery has announced the promotion of Harry Kendall, to partner.

Having joined the firm as a London trainee in 2016, Harry has been based in the Edinburgh office for the past five years. An audit specialist, he advises a broad range of clients across corporate, landed estates and the not‑for‑profit sectors. He works closely with boards and senior management teams, providing support on governance and financial reporting.

Sean McGinness, partner and head of Saffery’s Edinburgh office, said: “Harry’s mix of sector experience fits very well with our client base. It reflects the direction of travel for our business as we continue to focus on our strong private-wealth client base and build on recent success in the corporate market.

“He is a trusted adviser to boards and management teams alike, and a highly respected member of the team. His appointment strengthens our partner group in Edinburgh and underlines the depth of talent across our 80‑strong team.”

Harry added: “We’ve built a collaborative, high-performing team with deep sector expertise here in Edinburgh, and I’m proud to be part of an office that combines national strength with strong local relationships. I look forward to continuing to support our clients as they navigate increasingly complex audit and governance requirements.”

Harry’s promotion follows the appointment of 15 new team members in Edinburgh in 2025.
