Photographer Daniel Rannoch has launched ‘slow’ portrait sessions, at his studio on Broughton Place.
He explained: “In these sessions, I create portraits using traditional photography techniques from the first days of photography.
“The portraits are created on tin or glass and result in a one-of-a-kind photograph.” Daniel describes them as “unique, timeless and raw.”
Included in the experience is watching the image come to life, in the dark room. During the session, Daniel also shares his knowledge of the history of photography and Edinburgh’s special place in it.
Sessions cost from £45.
