Perthshire golf course teed up for sale
A renowned Scottish golf resort, located next to Gleneagles has been put up for sale.
Offers are being invited for gWest in Blackford, Perth and Kinross, which extends to around 639 acres and includes an 18-hole, David McLay Kidd-designed championship golf course and clubhouse shell, inspired by 18th-century Scottish architect Colen Campbell.
Independent property consultancy, Knight Frank. has been instructed to find a buyer for the estate, which has planning consent for up to 170 residential plots; a hotel and spa; leisure and entertainment facilities; and staff accommodation.
gWest sits in one of Scotland’s best-known golf and leisure corridors, to the west of Gleneagles and between Perth and Stirling. The golf course was originally completed in 2009.
