Nova Herita shortlisted for Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce Innovation Award
Nova Herita, a specialist in digital preservation and AI development, has been shortlisted for an Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce award, in the Innovation category.
This nomination marks the second consecutive year that founder and chief executive Benjamin Llewellyn’s work has been recognised. Last year, Opulence Security, which Benjamin co-founded and where he held the role of chief information security officer, was also shortlisted.
Nova Herita focuses on emerging technology, specialising in three key areas: AI development, digital-preservation strategies and pioneering work on biofeedback interface solutions.
In the latter area, Nova Herita combines software-development expertise with neuroscience, using EEG (electroencephalography) technology, the measurement of electrical activity in the brain. This takes the form of creating interfaces that allow users to interact with technology using their brainwaves.
The company works with clients across a range of industries.
Benjamin said: “Being shortlisted for the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce innovation award for the second year running is a tremendous honour. This recognition reflects the hard work and vision that drives everything we do at Nova Herita.
“Our focus on AI development, digital preservation and biofeedback interfaces positions us at the intersection of technology and human experience, and we are proud to be contributing to Scotland’s reputation as a hub for innovation.”
The Chamber of Commerce award winners will be announced at a ceremony to be held at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, on 26 February.
