New Year celebrations at the Duck & Waffle
The Duck & Waffle is offering two different Hogmanay celebrations.
The first, for diners, is from 6-11pm and involves a four-course tasting menu and Veuve Clicquot champagne, as well as live music and DJs, all for £80 per person.
The menu features dishes such as grilled oyster brûlée; wild mushroom and truffle soup; lobster Thermidor; plum pudding with roasted plum ice-cream; and many more to choose from.
The second event, for those looking to welcome in the New Year, is a party at the bar, from 9pm to 1am – also with live music and DJs. It costs £55 per person and includes a festive cocktail, a glass of bubbles at the countdown and complimentary canapés.
But if you’re already looking beyond 31 December, to 2025, and planning where to hold client lunches or birthday celebrations, the Duck & Waffle also has private-dining spaces. The Whisky Room, for instance, can seat 10 people, in a room designed to reflect the whisky-ageing process, with elements of copper, amber tones and charred timber in the décor.
