New partner appointment at Aberdein Considine
Law firm Aberdein Considine has appointed M&A lawyer, Stewart Gordon, as partner in the firm’s Edinburgh office.
Stewart joins Aberdein Considine from Addleshaw Goddard, where he was a managing associate in the infrastructure, projects and energy team.
Ritchie Whyte, partner and head of corporate at the firm said: “We are very pleased to welcome Stewart to our growing corporate and energy teams.
“He brings more than a decade’s experience of successfully handling complex M&A and corporate transactions, as well as excellent renewable-energy-sector experience in onshore wind, hydro and solar projects.
“Based in our Edinburgh office, his appointment bolsters our capacity in the central belt as we continue to augment and develop our services to clients across a wide range of sectors.”
Stewart added: “I am delighted to be joining Aberdein Considine as partner at such an exciting time for the firm. I was attracted to this role by the firm’s objective in growing its corporate M&A practice in Edinburgh and the central belt, which aligns with my ambitions.
“In addition to M&A work, I look forward to assisting existing and new clients with general commercial-contracts-advisory work including on renewables, EV charging, construction and data protection.”
Aberdein Considine has 21 offices and more than 450 staff across Scotland and the north of England.
The firm’s services span family law; employment law; personal insolvency; divorce and separation; legal disputes; executory administration; and corporate and business-advisory services.
