Loganair launches direct service between Edinburgh and Guernsey
Loganair has announced that it will offer direct flights from Edinburgh and Guernsey as part of its summer 2025 schedule.
The weekly service will operate on Saturdays between 24 May and 13 September, leaving Edinburgh at 4.10pm and arriving in Guernsey at 6.10pm. The return service leaves the island at 6.40pm, landing in Edinburgh at 8.45pm.
Fares start at £89.99 and include luggage allowances of up to 21kg spread between 6kg on-board luggage and 15kg of cabin baggage.
Luke Lovegrove, chief commercial officer, said:
“We know that our passengers are always looking for new destinations to explore over summer months. We are thrilled that we’ve been able to launch a new direct service between Scotland’s capital city and the beautiful island of Guernsey.”
Some of Guernsey’s main attractions include numerous beaches and the availability of a wide range of outdoor activities such as fishing, cycling, hiking, island-hopping, kayaking, cliff-walking and wild swimming.
Guernsey also has a variety of museums, including the Alderney Museum, which houses a collection of Wombles memorabilia. Jewellery fans will be drawn to the diamond museum, where they can learn all about diamonds and their history, and how to pick out the perfect stone. Victor Hugo’s home, where he wrote Les Miserables is a must-see too.
