Kennedys expands Edinburgh office to support continued growth in Scotland

Law firm, Kennedys, has expanded its office presence in Scotland, relocating its Edinburgh team to a significantly larger office in the heart of the city, to support continued business growth.

The investment follows more than a decade of sustained growth across Scotland and provides enhanced facilities for colleagues, clients and business partners.

The new Edinburgh office at 9 Charlotte Square provides 53 desks, up from 33 previously. The office includes expanded meeting, collaboration, well-being and breakout facilities, with a particular focus on creating high-quality, client-facing spaces. The expanded facilities will enable the firm to host more client events and training sessions.

Kennedys has operated in Scotland since 2015 and today advises clients across insurance and reinsurance; casualty; health care; professional indemnity; local authority; historic abuse; data protection; and disease litigation.

The Scottish practice supports insurers, reinsurers, insureds, corporates, health-care providers and public-sector organisations across Scotland and beyond.

Rory Jackson, partner at Kennedys, said: “This investment marks an exciting milestone for our Scotland business. Our teams continue to go from strength to strength, and the enhanced offices in Edinburgh will help us support clients, attract talent and build on our strong position in the Scottish market.

"The growth we have experienced over many years reflects both the strength of our client relationships and the exceptional people we have across our Scottish practice. These new offices provide the platform and flexibility we need for our next phase of growth."

Ben Aram, UK managing partner at Kennedys, said: "Scotland is an important market for Kennedys and a key part of our UK business. This investment demonstrates our confidence in the future and our commitment to supporting clients with market-leading expertise delivered by exceptional people.

"Our Scottish teams have built an outstanding reputation across a range of specialist practice areas and are exceptionally well placed to continue supporting clients' evolving needs."
