Judging begins for Business Excellence Awards 2025
Judging is underway for this year’s Business Excellence Awards run by the West Lothian Chamber of Commerce.
The final nominations came in last week, with the winners to be announced at a gala dinner at the Macdonald Houstoun House Hotel, Uphall, on Friday 28 November.
The awards showcase organisations that have achieved business excellence across all the categories.
Joint headline sponsors for the 2025 awards are DYW (Developing the Young Workforce) West Lothian Regional Group and the Glenmorangie Company.
This year there are six categories up for grabs: Best Business, sponsored by Livingston Football Club; Shona Sibbald Woman in Business, which is sponsored by Sibbald Training; DYW Regional Employer of the Year, sponsored by the Glenmorangie Company; Environmental Champion of the Year, sponsored by chemicals company, Shin-Etsu, as well as Entrepreneur and Business Start-up of the Year; and the Innovation & Resilience awards, which are both sponsored by West Lothian Chamber of Commerce.
Linda Scott, West Lothian Chamber of Commerce chief executive, said: “West Lothian is a great hub for successful and progressive businesses, and it is only right that we celebrate this in a grand fashion, with our awards.
“It is a time for deserving winners to be publicly acknowledged for demonstrating continued pursuit of excellence and for having a passion for business improvement, while showcasing why West Lothian is a place to do business.
“We continue to host the awards, as we feel it is important that West Lothian is recognised as a region that holds unlimited potential for the future and they remain a testament to the talent, drive, achievement and success of West Lothian.”
