John Dunlop joins BTO’s real-estate team as a partner

Law firm, BTO, has announced an addition to its real-estate team, welcoming John Dunlop as a new partner. John, who previously worked at Shoosmiths, is based in BTO’s Edinburgh office.

Last month, BTO promoted Paul Greenhill to partner in the Glasgow-based real-estate team. It also recruited three real-estate solicitors. 

John’s experience encompasses representing property developers, investors, commercial landlords and tenants. His expertise also includes acquisitions and disposals.

Grant Hunter, managing partner commented: “John’s pragmatic and commercially focused approach to property law will be a great fit with BTO’s values. Known for his efficiency and ability to navigate complex deals, he will be an invaluable asset to our real-estate team and to the firm as a whole.”
