Jack ‘O’ Bryan’s shortlisted for award

Dunfermline Restaurant, Jack ‘O’Bryan’s, has been shortlisted in the ‘restaurant of the year (casual dining)’ category, in the 2025 SLTN (Scottish Licensed Trade News) awards.

 

The awards ceremony takes place on 6 November, at The Hilton, in Glasgow.

 

The Coghill family, who run Jack ‘O’ Bryan’s, also recently found out that their new venture, The Crab & Lobster Fish Shack, in South Queensferry, has been shortlisted in the ‘newcomer of the year’ category in the National Fish & Chip Awards 2026.


Commenting on the SLTN awards, Bryan Coghill said: “We are thrilled to once again be a finalist in this year’s prestigious SLTN Awards. They will always represent the benchmark for excellence in our industry.”

 

Some of the current dishes on the menu at Jack ‘O’ Bryan’s include Singapore crab tempura; seared venison with serrano ham, pepper sauce and sherry; and winter Basque cheesecake.
