Hampden Bank, which is headquartered in Edinburgh, has announced the appointment of two new business-development directors.
Graeme Mann joins the Edinburgh office from Coutts and Paul de la Salle joins the bank’s London office from City Finance Brokers.
Graeme has more than 25 years’ financial-services experience, specialising in relationship management, commercial growth and customer experience.
Mark Prentice, head of banking (Scotland), said: “Experienced professionals of Graeme’s calibre are increasingly drawn to us, and that is something we are really proud of. With his extensive experience in financial services and a strong track record in business development and relationship management, he will play a key role in our continued growth in Scotland.”
Paul brings expertise from across private banking, mortgage broking and business development. He previously held senior roles at Smith & Williamson, Arena Wealth Partners and Barclays, where he spent over 25 years.
Hannah Berridge, head of banking (south), said: “Paul’s appointment is a fantastic
addition to our London team. He brings considerable depth of experience across
private banking, wealth management and mortgage broking, having held senior
roles at some of the most respected names in the industry.
"We look forward to that expertise helping us grow and strengthen our presence across the south of England.”
Hampden Bank continues to expand its banking services across the UK, from bases
in Edinburgh, London and Manchester. It recently marked its 10th anniversary by exceeding £1bn of deposits during 2025, with deposits increasing to £1.12bn in the financial year to 31 December, up from £991m in 2024.
