Graham + Sibbald bolsters hotel and leisure offering with new director hire
Chartered surveyors and property consultants, Graham + Sibbald, have welcomed a new director of hotel and leisure valuation services to their Edinburgh team.
Gregor Porteous joins from CBRE and brings over 10 years of experience in providing strategic property investment and valuation advice to a broad range of clients in the hotel, leisure and operator sector.
The hotel and leisure department currently has a 10-strong team across the UK and Gregor is directly supported by senior director, Kevin Hunter and associate, Mary Leitch.
In June 2026 Graham + Sibbald acquired leisure specialist, Fleurets, which has two centuries of expertise in hotels, pubs, restaurants, nightclubs and leisure assets. Its team of leisure specialists includes agents and surveyors across England and Wales. This acquisition brought Graham + Sibbald’s hotel and leisure team to over 30 specialists across the UK.
Gregor said: “I am excited to be part of the growth journey at Graham + Sibbald as we continue strengthen our hotel and leisure offering across the UK. I look forward
to working with a variety of lenders, operators and investors to provide valuation
advisory services.”
Kevin added: “We’re delighted Gregor has joined the team in Edinburgh. Our team is continuing to grow and thrive with our improving service offering now available across the UK. Gregor joins us with a great deal of experience and will be a great asset to our expanding team.”
The firm said that while its hotel and leisure team has grown significantly across the UK, the new appointment demonstrates its commitment to its roots.
Graham + Sibbald first opened its doors, in 1959, in Dundee and today has 24 offices across the UK, from London to Inverness. It employs more than 400 staff and offerings over 20 services.
