A new, online magazine for and about businesses of all sizes, in Edinburgh and beyond

Blank Street, which opened its first coffee shop in Scotland on 25 January, on Victoria Street, will also be stationed at the intersection between Princes Street and Castle Street on the weekend of 7-8 February.
Between 10am to 6pm, the ‘Blank Street Express Line’, an ‘immersive, pop-up tram stop’ will be offering free samples of Blank Street drinks.
Passers-by and commuters can also collect a ticket, which will be stamped and can be redeemed at either the Victoria Street or the Princes Street store for a discounted drink, such as the blueberry matcha or the ‘daydream’ latte. The Princes Street store opens on 8 February.
Blank Street co-founder, Ignacio Llado, said that the decision to open the Edinburgh stores and the forthcoming Glasgow shop, had been driven by customer demand. He said that location was key too, describing the Victoria Street store as “perhaps the most beautiful Blank Street location to date”. Ignacio also told us of his love for Scotland – having travelled extensively in the Highlands, he now aims to visit every year.
Blank Street started with a coffee cart in New York in 2020 and now has a total of 39 stores, located in the US, London and other locations in England.
