Effective Hospitality Management (EHM) has announced that it has been certified as a B Corporation (B Corp) company.

The firm said that this underscores its longstanding commitment to building commercially resilient hospitality businesses while creating positive social and environmental impact.

Kevin Keenan, EHM co-founder and director commented: “Hospitality should enhance places and people as well as profits. Achieving B Corp certification formalises that commitment. We’re proud to lead by example and show that performance and purpose can go hand in hand.”

Co-founder and director, John Shevlin added: “Our clients trust us to transform assets and teams. B Corp adds third‑party assurance to that promise and aligns us with owners, guests and partners who want sustainability embedded in everyday decisions, not just in a policy.”

EHM is an Edinburgh‑based management and advisory partner to hospitality owners and investors, working with hotels and resorts. Its services include repositioning and rebranding and also cover management contracts; revenue management; sales; IT; systems integration and training; design and build consultation; and legislative compliance.
