Award-winning enterprise platform, Dayshape has announced that it is working with Microsoft to bring agentic, AI‑powered staffing to professional services firms, turning the firms’ ERP (enterprise resource planning), HRM (human-resource management) and CRM (customer-relationship management) systems of record into “systems of action.”
Dayshape was selected for Microsoft’s Agentic Launchpad to accelerate these autonomous capabilities, with a focus on embedding resource intelligence directly inside the Microsoft tools firms use every day.
Through deep integration with Microsoft solutions, firms are able to use Dayshape in Microsoft Teams or Microsoft 365 Copilot to gain insight into their business – from quick questions about schedules and availability through to deeper analysis of skills, capacity and project financials.
Agentic capabilities enabling autonomous risk mitigation and firm-wide optimisation are launching later this year.
At the heart of the collaboration is Dayshape’s proprietary, AI combinatorial optimisation engine. This technology is used to navigate billions of staffing schedules, enabling Dayshape to execute resource allocation and optimisation on the customer’s behalf.
Dayshape said that its availability on Microsoft Marketplace already simplifies adoption for large professional-services firms. It added that firms' existing platforms will become more valuable because Dayshape turns static data into continuous, agentic decision-making embedded in day‑to‑day operations.
Matt Cockett, Dayshape chief executive, said: “Firms need AI that drives real outcomes, not just analysis. Our optimisation engine has been doing this for years. With Microsoft, we can now deliver agentic staffing through natural language, turning data into action and helping firms deploy the right people at the right time, every time.”
Brant Hollenkanp, Microsoft professional services sales leader added: "Professional-services firms need forward‑looking, confident, resource-allocation capabilities. Dayshape brings the advanced execution layer to make that possible. Combined with Microsoft’s data and AI stack, Dayshape handles the entire process from demand to staffing as one connected, intelligent process.”
