Eat Out Edinburgh, the city-centre restaurant festival run by Essential Edinburgh, has revealed the full list of dining offers running throughout March.

This year’s event features a line-up of over 50 restaurants, cafes and bars, exclusive deals, curated set menus and a series of supper clubs.

Diners can explore the special offers online at www.eatoutedinburgh.com, which includes deals from some of Edinburgh’s best-loved venues.

This year’s festival welcomes first-time participants such as SUSHISAMBA, The Botanist and Dishoom. Returning favourites include the Duck & Waffle and Chaophraya.

The introduction this year, of a supper club at the beginning and at the end of the festival, offers food lovers the opportunity to enjoy exclusive dining experiences hosted by Hawksmoor and by Dean Banks at the Pompadour.

The festival starts on 6 March, at Hawksmoor, with an evening of celebrating British seasonal produce, in the form of a three-course sharing menu with wine. Guests will be welcomed with a gin cocktail, prior to enjoying a selection of Hawksmoor’s prime meats. They will also receive a box of the restaurant’s salted-caramel chocolates as a reminder of the evening. Tickets cost £75 per person.

The Dean Banks at The Pompadour supper club brings the festival to a close on 27 March. It will offer a seven-course tasting menu, available at a discounted rate of £65 per person.  Dean will personally introduce each course on the menu, which focuses on Scotland’s best produce of the season.

Eat Out Edinburgh encourages locals, visitors, and city centre workers to explore and support Edinburgh’s dynamic food and drink scene. Essential Edinburgh reported that last year’s festival saw a 9.2 per cent increase in hospitality sales and over 18,700 bookings for city-centre venues.

Emily Campbell Johnston, senior manager of marketing & communications at Essential Edinburgh, said: “With so many exciting new venues opening in the city centre, this year’s Eat Out Edinburgh is set to be our most diverse and engaging yet.

“The addition of supper clubs will bring a whole new level of exclusivity and experience for diners. Whether you’re discovering a new favourite spot or revisiting a beloved classic, March is the perfect time to celebrate Edinburgh’s incredible hospitality scene.”
