Duck & Waffle’s ‘Chamber of Magic’ arrives in Edinburgh this Christmas
The Duck & Waffle Edinburgh is inviting guests to leave the ordinary behind, this festive season, and to step into the 'Chamber of Magic' – a world where wonder, mischief and wizardry collide.
Guests can expect to see a cosy fireplace framed by glittering trees and a flurry of letters spilling upwards, with a watchful owl perched among them; a dreamy ‘sky’ of drifting clouds and twinkling stars above the grand-hall-inspired dining room; and lush garlands wrapping the banquettes.
Alex Winter, general manager at Duck & Waffle Edinburgh, said: “Each year we love creating something that captures the imagination and spirit of the season, and Chamber of Magic is our most enchanting transformation yet.
“We wanted to bring a sense of wonder and playfulness to the restaurant – a place where guests can escape the ordinary; share great food and drink; and feel part of a truly magical story.”
Throughout the season, Duck & Waffle Edinburgh guests can enjoy a selection of festive specials alongside a three-course festive set menu, featuring dishes such as roasted-pumpkin soup; braised ox-cheek beef bourguignon; roasted Norfolk bronze turkey; and apple and orange mince-pie crumble.
