Charity boutique pops up on George Street

On 14-17 May, Maggie’s Edinburgh ambassadors, fashion-retail expert, Sarah Murray and former banker, Lisa Stephenson are running a charity pop-up boutique, at 93 George Street.

The pop-up, billed as an unmissable event for style lovers, takes the form of an exclusive sale of pre-loved designer fashion, to raise funds for the cancer-care charity.

Since January, Lisa and Sarah have been curating the stylish pieces to be available in the boutique, including clothes, bags and accessories, by Chanel, Stella McCartney, Alice Temperley, Isabel Marant, Loewe, Fendi, Missoni, Prada and many more.

More than 1500 items will be up for sale, and the shop will be re-stocked each day. An auction of five special Chanel pieces will be held online.

The items have been donated by friends, family and supporters of Maggie’s, and all are either very gently worn or brand new.

Sarah and Lisa have already run several fundraisers for the charity, raising £2m to date, from fashion shows and events with high-profile celebrities such as designer, Roland Mouret and music icon, Marc Almond.
