Return of ‘Moving to Portugal’ show
Following the success of its launch event, in 2025, the second ‘Moving to Portugal’ show is taking place at the Scotsman Hotel in Edinburgh on 12 November.
The show is organised by the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce in the UK, which this year is collaborating with Edinburgh business, Belli International Real Estate, to introduce the event to a wider Scottish audience and to strengthen its links with Scotland’s property and international-investment communities. The event is free to attend, but advance registration is required.
Belli International Real Estate is a UK-based boutique property firm with a presence in Edinburgh, London and Shanghai. The collaboration brings together the chamber’s established network of Portuguese experts with Belli International Real Estate’s experience of helping clients understand international property markets and opportunities.

The 2026 show will feature an expanded seminar programme, with presentations from Portugal specialists working across property, legal services, taxation, financial planning, pensions and relocation.
Visitors will be able to attend expert-led seminars and speak directly with organisations that regularly assist individuals and families moving between the UK and Portugal.
The seminar programme will address many of the practical questions that arise when considering a move, such as choosing an appropriate residency or visa; understanding the legal and tax implications of relocation; managing pensions and financial arrangements; finding and purchasing property in Portugal; planning the practical aspects of moving; and exploring business and investment opportunities.
The show will also feature first-hand accounts from people who have already moved from Scotland to Portugal, providing their perspective on the decisions involved, the challenges that can arise and the lessons learned during the process.
