East Lothian nursery shortlisted for four awards
Fenton Barns nursery in North Berwick has been shortlisted in four categories – Individual Nursery of the Year, Nursery Manager of the Year, Nursery Team of the Year and Outdoor Learning Environment of the Year – in the 2025 Scottish Nursery Awards. The awards ceremony takes place in Glasgow, on 22 November.
Director, Caroline Freeman commented: “This recognition reflects the dedication, teamwork and passion of everyone at Fenton Barns Nursery. We’re so proud of our nursery manager, Lauren Peacock and our whole team for creating such a special place for children to grow, explore and thrive.”
The nursery, for children up to age five, champions outdoor learning as an essential part of early childhood development.
It opened in 2012 and has 30 members of staff. At the moment, 71 children are enrolled in the nursery.
