Chef Stuart Ralston’s Michelin-starred Lyla restaurant, on Royal Terrace, is becoming a restaurant with rooms.
The Georgian townhouse will have four rooms available, from February 2026. The décor of the rooms will feature neutral tones, velvet and marble.
A private dining room for up to 12 guests is also opening, in late April, on the first floor. A solid oak table will be the centrepiece and the building’s original fireplace is to be reinstated.
Guests staying at Lyla will be greeted with an aperitif, charcuterie and snacks, before being shown to their rooms. Each room will have a mini bar stocked with Lyla’s own batched cocktails, champagne and caviar.
Stuart said: “This next chapter means we can give guests the fullest expression of Lyla – something I have always wanted us to move towards.”
An overnight stay with dinner for two will cost £650, including breakfast and £350 without dinner.
Lyla opened in 2023, gaining its first Michelin star two years later. In October, Stuart and co-owner, Jade Johnston opened Vinette, a Parisian bar à vin serving sharing plates and bistro-style dishes and Vivien, a cocktail bar, located beneath Vinette, at 36 Broughton Street, the former site of Fhior.
