Tattu launches its first ‘Fringe brunch experience’
City-centre restaurant and bar, Tattu, is introducing its first-ever ‘Fringe brunch experience’, available on 2 and 23 August, at 11am and 1pm.
As well as brunch, diners can expect a live DJ, cocktails and a Fringe-themed ‘surprise moment’, in the form of a live performance.
The menu features dishes such as ‘wok-fired angry bird’ (chicken, roasted chilli pepper, cashews and sesame honey soy) and duck spring rolls with cherry hoisin sauce. The vegetarian version offers wild mushroom and black-truffle spring rolls and kung po tofu, with pineapple, green beans and lotus.
The brunch also includes 90 minutes’ worth of ‘free-flowing’ cocktails, when diners can enjoy up to five drinks within that timeframe. They can choose from a menu of four cocktails, such as ‘Tiger Essence’, a combination of sloe gin, grenadine and pineapple; and the ‘Flight of the Phoenix’, which mixes vodka with blue Curaçao, poppy and apple.
The brunch costs £59.50 per person, with a £20 deposit required.
Tattu business-development manager, Louise Alburo, said: “We’ve designed the brunch as a one-off experience to celebrate the energy and creativity of the festival.
"Fringe Brunch at Tattu is more than just a meal – it’s an experience. With vibrant dishes, live DJ sets and a signature Tattu surprise, it’s the perfect way to celebrate the spirit of the Fringe in style."
