Launch of Glasgow artist’s 2025 calendar

Artist Adrian B McMurchie, also known as the ‘Glasgow illustrator’, has created hundreds of his distinctive images of the city’s landmarks over the last few decades.  The University of Glasgow and the Rogano restaurant are some of the many well-loved locations that have caught his eye. 

Last year, Adrian created a calendar – his first. It was well-received, so he has now produced another, for 2025. As he explains: “This is only my second year of producing a calendar, despite requests for years: “I have no idea why I haven't done this before now. It's a huge hit with customers!” 

While the 2025 calendar mainly features his hometown of Glasgow, it also includes images of Edinburgh, Tobermory, Crail and even Lisbon. There are plans for additional locations in future editions. Adrian says: “There will be more coastal and international images included each year.”  The calendar costs £15 plus postage and packing. 

One of his next projects is a book about all the whisky distilleries he painted in 2024.
